Where we prioritize empowerment over poison!  Our mission is to educate women about clean skin care and clean makeup. We want to empower you to use pro make up on your own at home and elevate your skincare routine while avoiding dangerous  ingredients.  

 

Founder of Science Of Pretty, Stephanie Barker, was inspired to create her own line after working as a pro Makeup Artist for over 25 years. Pro artists use cream and wax based products which give dramatically better results than the silicone options most average women currently use, but often rely on petroleum derived ingredients like mineral oil and synthetic wax as primary ingredients.  

 

Science Of Pretty is committed to using only natural ingredients and the following standards: 

No petrochemicals

No synthetic fragrance only essential oils 

Cruelty free

No phthalates

No parabens 

No endocrine disruptors 

No known irritants 

Semi Vegan - while some of our products are completely vegan, we do use beeswax and royal jelly in addition to some color dyes that use insects

Gluten Use low - some of our products do use wheat based ingredients
